Pat Gain
ECO Club Advisor

Hi, I'm Pat Gain, advisor for the ECO Club.  I teach science at Franklin High School, and I previously taught at West Allis Central High School for 13 years.

I was in charge of the Central Conservation Club (CCC) since 2001 at WAC, and have been excited to bring similar adventures and outdoor experieces to FHS!  We have had a good amount of interest in the ECO Club, and with lots of kids and a full calendar, the need for teamwork and leadership is huge.  I am always amazed at the level of volunteer help I receive from other teachers and adults.  The chaperones and assistants who help us out give of their own time, unpaid, to acclimate students to the outdoors and help instill an appreciation for the environment.  We are VERY lucky to have devoted individuals as part of our club initiatives!

Advisors & Volunteers

Todd Cerpich
ECO Club Assistant Advisor

Mr. Cerpich has been at Franklin High School for over a decade as a Special Education teacher.  He is in charge of the greenhouse, and has maintained the FHS fish pond with his students as well.  Todd's love of the outdoors and desire to share his knowledge with members of the ECO Club has been evident as a club advisor and mentor for high school kids.  He has recently started an aquaponics facility within the dynamics of the greenhouse, where he is teaching club members how to raise fish and plants in a system where soil is not used, and nutrients are exchanged in the growing process.

Many many many thanks to our FHS Teacher volunteers,

especially
